A to Z Blogging Challenge - The Villages

http://www.a-to-zchallenge.com/

Down the road from Ocala can be found “The Villages.” Most folks think of the Villages as a place for “old” or retired people, and it is. But only in the "barest" sense of the definition.

Do they look bored to you?! Lacking a sense of humor? Didn't think so!

Love the "cars" and the parking here!

This place is bustling! One of the fastest growing areas in central Florida, it is packed with activities for all ages.  Don’t forget, “old” folks have families that come and visit! So, take your pick on what you’d like to discover…Time’s a wastin’!
Go cart go! Take those kids out for a spin! Livin' the dream...

  4. Driving around in a cart would be cheaper - all you have to do is keep it charged.

Looks like a great setting for a novel. Everyone wants to know the bare butt guy's story. Why don't you think on this post as a possible setting for a great cast of characters!

  9. I have friends living there. We stayed there a couple of times. A fun place to visit and there is a winery "down the road" a piece. It is beautifully kept and everyone is very friendly. We even considered buying there ourselves once. It was driving back from there to Canada that we stopped at the Silver Springs area for a night

  11. I can't ever see myself living in a retirement community even though many of my neighbors here are retired. Guess I'll wait and see.

  18. The villages are quaint and adorable. They remind me of Seaside Florida. It is close to Destin, where we vacation every year. Have you heard of or been to seaside? http://www.seasidefl.com
Cobblestone streets lined with pastel cottages and old time candy stores and shopping. I love it.

  19. The Village: Too lively and lots of happy faces.

Even in reality too, the villages has happy faces than these Metro cities.

Btw the BUM in the pic is super cute. Winks. Grandpa has a funny bone! I Must Say!
