This will be short, but sweet and you’ll see why in a moment. June is here! Where has the year gone? I thought it just turned 2015 and now we’re half way through. This is what always happens to me now that I’m “older.” Time runs away and I can’t keep a hold of it no matter how I try. I think sometimes if I could just slow down in my head a bit that might change, but then life throws something else my way and off I go again. Take these two months, May and June. I anticipated getting a lot of writing done. Then found out, with two week’s notice, that our son was getting married, on Mother’s Day! Two week’s notice. Gives the three words a new meaning, and one I prefer.

The "second" wedding we’ve known about for a year; our daughter is marrying at the end of the month, on the 27^th of June. She is so excited, and ready for it to be here. So, one down, one to go! And, that means I’m still not done with wedding plans!

I’m not complaining, how can I? I'm only standing here noticing time slip away again, and though I’m not getting much writing done, how can I say I regret the reasons why? I can’t. I love my kids. Sometimes my favorite saying is so true I laugh till it hurts, “Life is what happens when you’re busy planning something else.”
