Zazie is another French “chanteuse” (singer) who, in my opinion is the epitome of a woman taking her life and career into her own hands and coming out on top. Her real name is Isabelle Marie Anne de Truchis de Varennes. I know, right? What a name. I'd have gone with Zazie, too. She has modeled, plays piano and guitar, sings, and she writes songs not only for herself, but for other artists both famous and not.

For those of you who watch The Voice, Zazie started coaching
on the French version of The Voice in 2015 and one of her
team, Lilian Renaud, won that 4th season. She also
coached in 2016 and 2017.
I’ve posted a few videos here for you to get an idea of what
she does herself, and what others have done with her music.
She wrote rockin’ hits like this one for Johnny Hallyday…
She sings/writes songs like this…which I just happen to
love. The video is great.
